We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information such as your name and email address when you sign up
• Profile information including your display name and profile photo
• Social media account tokens when you connect Instagram or Facebook (we never store your passwords)
• Content you create within the app such as scheduled posts and drafts
• Communication preferences and notification settings

We also collect information automatically when you use our Service:

• Analytics data retrieved from your connected social media platforms via their official APIs
• Usage data such as which features you use and how frequently
• Device and browser information for technical support purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Social Tier Service
• Display your social media analytics within your personal dashboard
• Authenticate your identity and maintain the security of your account
• Send you service-related communications such as account confirmations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database platform with enterprise-grade security. Scheduled posts, drafts, and profile information are stored in our secure database and are only accessible by you.

Social media access tokens are stored in session storage and are cleared when you close your browser. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. Third-Party Services

Social Tier integrates with the following third-party services:

• Meta (Instagram & Facebook) — We access your social media data via Meta's official Graph API. Meta's own privacy policy applies to data on their platforms.
• TikTok — TikTok integration is pending platform approval. TikTok's privacy policy will apply when enabled.
• Google — If you sign in with Google, Google's privacy policy applies to that authentication process.
• Stripe — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions is handled by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Disconnect your social media accounts at any time via Settings
• Revoke Social Tier's access to your Meta data via your Meta account settings
• Export a copy of your data upon request

7. Children's Privacy

Social Tier is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
